Sever

The face of Loss Prevention, Sean Severinson aka Sever, is an internationally renowned author and artist whose exhaustive body of work has inspired community service crews and fine art enthusiasts alike. Over the past decade Sever has cultivated his penchance for delinquency in some of the most forgotten neighborhoods around the globe, having lived and traveled throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. In addition to his illicit works Sever is a frequent cultural commentator who has worked extensively with Church's Fried Chicken, Krokus, and Mad Dog 20/20 among others.  

He currently resides in Mechanicsville.

KID ZOOM

KID ZOOM (Ian Strange) is an Australian Born, New York based artist. As a painter and graffiti writer for 12 years on the remote Western Coast of Australia, KID ZOOM moved to New York in early 2010 to work under the mentorship of Ron English. KID ZOOM's work has developed to cover expressive aerosol based works incorporating highly detailed photo-realism and aggressive installation work.
He is currently based in Brooklyn, New York.

JRF

JRF is a multi-disciplinary artist and designer with a active history in a variety of creative pursuits. Born from the passion of do-it-yourself, youth culture, he began designing and producing his own stickers, t-shirts, stencils and 'zines as early as 1985. His creative inspirations are always diverse and take cues from a variety of references, including punk music and postmodern art.

JRF lives and works in Los Angeles, CA.

ILK

iLK™ is born on a playground somewhere in the 93 departement, iLK™ loves to draw, lives to paint, takes photographs, loves polaroids, does graffiti, makes logos, creates stuff, simultaneously, sometimes together, never twice the same. iLK™ got himself a black fixie, raises a black cat, knows all the Kerry King’s black guitar solos by heart, uses black ink, eats black candies, drinks a lot of black coffee, loves the black friday, wears black tattoos… and… his favorite color is black.

How & Nosm

In an age where lavish color and effects often compensate for style, the Perre Twins aka How and Nosm have taken an opposite approach. In their newest works the brothers have restricted themselves to a sparse color pallet - red, black and white. The absence of color accentuates every line so that the outline jumps to the forefront. The drawings have the aesthetics of Jack's, Queen's and King's pulled from a deck of playing cards. The meticulous lines and intricate patterns presented in such a minimalist fashion makes the brothers' work instantly recognizable and unique.

Horfe

Horfe was born in Paris and has lived in the capital city of France for 27 years. He has been a graffiti writer for the last 11 years. Looking to follow a path to see where graffiti takes him, Horfe has traveled the globe meeting up with the worlds most well known street artists. He has used those travels to expand his vision and direction in the art he surrounds himself with. His work is a true mix of both concept drawings and surface exploration.

GREG LAMARCHE

Inspired by the dynamism of his native New York City and its role as an incubator of the outlaw art of graffiti, Greg Lamarche’s collages combine the city’s relentless rhythm and graffiti’s aggressive presence to express the power, elegance and rebelliousness of urban creativity. Using found materials and commercially printed papers from his vast collection of vintage printed matter, Lamarche abstracts graffiti’s visual language, playing with a profusion of font styles, word fragments, multiple layers, bold colors, rhythmic repetition, multiple perspective and movement. Each unique work of precisely hand-cut paper thus becomes an interplay of the directness of graphic design and the aesthetics of fine art.

Born and raised in New York, Greg Lamarche created his first collages in the sixth grade when he used fireworks wrappers found in his schoolyard. In 1981 he began writing graffiti on the streets and subways, and published SKILLS, a seminal graffiti magazine, in the early 1990s.

Lamarche has worked as both fine artist and graphic designer since 2000, and has been featured in numerous publications including the New York Times, Print, Juxtapoz, Modern Painters and Arkitip among others. His work is also featured in several new books, including GRAFFITI NEW YORK (Eric Felisbret, author; Luke Felisbret, contributor; forward by James Prigoff; October 2009, Abrams. publishers), CUTTING EDGES: CONTEMPORARY COLLAGE, (R. Klantin, H. Hellige and J. Gallagher, editors; February 2011, Die Gestalten Verlag, publishers) and THE HISTORY OF AMERICAN GRAFFITI, (R. Gastman, C. Lamarche created the cover graphics for the upcoming WORLD PIECEBOOK (Sacha Jenkins, David Villorente, authors; to be released June 2011, Prestel USA, publishers.)
